Sean Norton

Sean Norton is a potter, projection designer, performer and educator from Ithaca, New York. He studied Arts & Creative Technology and Ceramic Archaeology at Oberlin College.

His work spans a variety of mediums, including wheel-thrown ceramics, kinetic sculpture, and digital & analog media for installations and live performance.

His ceramic practice focuses on both functional and questionably funky forms at the intersection of glassware and pottery. Beyond his personal practice, he strives to give the potting bug to others young and old as a teacher!

His multimedia work focuses on projection design, collaborative live performances, and interactive light & sound installations that try to let people slip into a sense of wonder through play and exploration.
