Come Try It Out! Wheel Throwing Workshop
Looking for a fun Date Night activity? Curious about pottery but not ready to commit to a full course? My single-session “Try It” workshop is the perfect way to get your hands dirty and experience the centrifugal joy of the potter’s wheel. In this 2-hour class, you’ll learn the basics of centering and shaping clay on the wheel with step-by-step guidance from Sean.
No prior experience is needed—this class is all about exploration and fun. You’ll have the chance to make a small piece or two, which we’ll finish and glaze for you after class so you can take home a lasting keepsake from your first pottery experience.

Wheel 101: Introduction to Wheel Throwing
This 6-week beginner workshop is designed for anyone who’s ever wanted to try their hand at the potter’s wheel! With no prior clay experience required, you’ll learn the fundamentals of centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing while creating functional pieces such as cups, bowls, and mugs.
Students who have prior experience are also welcome! Returning potters will have the chance to refresh their foundations, work at their own pace, and receive individual tutoring on building their skills and tackling new challenges.
